Many thanks for the reply, Andy. I did intend to message the photographer (it seems likely that both accounts are his, the pexels one is long standing), only as you say I don't know what his particular angle is either, and I'd rather forward the relevant URLS and evidence to the claim company to ...

i have experienced a very similiar situation to this myself on a non commercial site. PA Media demanded £700 for an image that can be purchased through Alamy for £30. I offered them above this amount and they refused, saying that the matter would be sent to their solicitors. That was weeks ago now a ...
