If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself being sued for infringement of copyright, or indeed any other IP right - and you cannot afford the cost of legal representation, help is now at hand. And help is also available for those who find that their intellectual property rights may have been infringed.

An IP Pro Bono service has been established with resources provided by a number of legal firms based in London, at the suggestion of His Honour Judge Hacon (presiding judge in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court), under the auspices of the Intellectual Property Office, and a number of professional bodies which represent patent and trade mark attorneys, as well as lawyers practising in the IP sector. You can find out more about the service here.

If a member of the CopyrightAid forums decides to use this service, we would very much like to hear about your experience in due course.
