hi guys n gals
can someone shed some light on this for me please
i print tshirts and gift items etc ....if someone asks to have
" ROD STEWART "
printed on items am i breaching any copyright/trademark etc
no logo or imaging just text .......many thanks
sorry if this sounds like a silly question...but cannot affort to take any risks
hi can someone offer me some help...........
Hi Swacd,
Shouldn't be any problem with printing just the name, as copyright does not apply to real names. And it would appear that 'Rod Stewart' has not been registered as a trade mark in either the UK or Europe, so that removes another potential problem.

Hi Swacd,
You can check using the IPO website. Just type the text you want to check in the 'search words' box. You don't need to worry about selecting any classes.
