Hi,
I put a wrong spelling in the contract. At the end of the contract, there should be "Contractor", but I put "Conractor" there. There is a "t" missing. Is the contract effective in this case? Do I need to re-sign the contract with the contractor?
Spelling mistake in a contract
Hi halie,
No, that should be fine. It's obvious what was meant and since 'Conractor' is not a word with another meaning, there is no room for confusion or misunderstanding. Quite often a contract can be open to different interpretations due to poor punctuation which is why there are often few if any commas in some of them!
