How to rewrite something in your own words
How to rewrite something in your own words
How can I rewrite an article in my own words so that I don't infringe copyright? I would like to rewrite long articles of many sentences as just two, so how could I do that? Thank you

Hi keith,
It sounds like you want to do a summary, not a re-write, in which case it's most unlikely that there will be any risk of copyright infringement. How you do it is something I don't think we can help you with!

Hi keith,
I'm not at all clear what you are trying to do. If you just want to re-cycle something that someone else has created, then yes you would need to change things around in order not copy chunks of the original. But why do you need to do this? A much simpler way would be to quote (fair dealing in accordance with section 30 CDPA) the bits you need and acknowledge the source(s), while giving the overall piece your own style.
